Robert Andrew Tate

May 24, 1926 -  September 11, 2021

Peacefully, with family by his side, on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Wenleigh, Long Term Care, at the age of 95. Beloved husband of the late Iszzilah. Cherished father of Iszzilah and son-in-law David (McKay). Predeceased by his son Gary. Cherished grandfather to Erin (Andrew), Lynsey (Mathieu) and Andrew (Robin). Loving brother to Mavis and brother-in-law David. Roy will be deeply missed by long-time friends Gertie and Reg, Eva and Walter and Susan along with his nieces and nephews in Canada and N. Ireland. Roy lived life to the fullest, including travelling the world with Iszzilah, they were campers until their later years, visiting many wonderful places. He was blessed to have the love that he did from his family. The family are comforted that he is now reunited with his beloved Iszzilah. A private interment will take place at Springcreek Cemetery.

I had not t seen Roy in many years, but I share many happy memories of parties, dances and visits in Park Royal in Mississauga . A true gentleman and I will remember him for his hospitality and sense of humor. May he rest in peace.
