Suddenly at home on Tuesday July 19, 2016. Loving mother of Tamia. Beloved daughter of Grace Higgins. Dear sister to Donna, Christopher, Legen, Dwayne, Tasha and Renee. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, ON (Hwy. 10 N of QEW) on Wednesday and Thursday from 6 - 9 p.m. Funeral will be held 10 a.m. on Friday July 29, 2016 at Praise Cathedral Worship Centre, 6785 Millcreek Dr., Mississauga. Interment St. John's Dixie Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations to the trust fund for Talisa's daughter, Tamia, in lieu of flowers.

I wish that I had the words to take away the feeling of loss and agony but sometimes its not enough please accept my deepest condolences to the Higgin's family during such a diffcult loss, may you all find comfort that she has found eternal peace and that an angel is watching over you all.

Grace, I love you, I am here if you need anything even if its just for comfort or a shoulder to cry on. I'm here if you want to yell and scream and let it all out. "Those we love dont go away. They walk beside us every day."

Donna, I cannot imagine what you are going through but the same goes for you, if you want to talk I am hear to listen. Please be strong your mom and niece need you more then ever. "At this hour of grief, just stay strong"

Tamia, you sweet little girl. Remember mommy is always with you and watching every step you take. You have very strong women around you to help and guide you, they will never replace your mom but they will try really hard to make it easier for you. "May warm memories live within your heart, May faith guide you and help you find strength"

Talisa will be sadly missed by our family. She was the sunshine of our son's life. She was an absolute pleasure to be around. The loss is unbearable but her memories are sweet. Talisa was a wonderful mother and girlfriend and touched many lives her short time here. She will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts. With all of our love
