It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tadeusz Koziol, who left this world to enter God’s kingdom on July 19, 2025, at the age of 77. He is survived by his loving wife, Teresa, and son, Zbigniew.
Born on October 7, 1947 in Poland, Tadeusz was the eldest child of the late Wladyslaw and Helena Koziol, and brother to Maria Kolonko, Jan Koziol, Antoni Koziol, and the late Michal Koziol.
In 1972, at the age of 25, Tadeusz bravely made the life-changing decision to immigrate to Canada to join the love of his life, Teresa. Upon the birth of their son, Zbigniew, they built a life filled with love, hard work, and unwavering devotion to their family. To Zbigniew (or Bish) Tadeusz was more than just “dad” or “tata” – he was “buddy,” a lifelong best friend, role model, and supportive to Bish in every way. Later, he was also a cherished father-in-law to Magdalena. To his beloved grandchildren, Sophia and Jacob, he was “dziadzio” or “dziadziu” – always present, always cheering, always supporting, and always full of love. Tadeusz never missed a practice, a game, or a tournament, proudly taking his grandchildren to sporting events and creating lasting memories. Through every stage of his life as a husband, a father, and a grandfather, Tadeusz was a source of strength, guidance, and love - qualities that will be carried forward to continue his legacy.
Tadeusz was also the proud owner of a successful machinery business, which he built and ran for over 40 years with integrity, determination, and skill. When he was not working at the shop, Tadeusz found joy in the simple things: chopping wood with Bish, working with his hands, swimming early in the morning, and sipping a fresh cup of coffee on the porch with his beloved wife. A lover of polka music, he was always ready to attend the next Polish festival to share his love of polka music with those he loved most. In his younger years, Tadeusz and Teresa shared a passion for travel, exploring destinations such as Israel, Hawaii, China, Europe, and the Caribbean, building a life rich in adventure.
Above all, Tadeusz was a man defined by his love and devotion for family, his unwavering work ethic, and his gentle spirit. Whether he was called “buddy,” “tata,” “dziadzio,” “szwagier,” “wujek,” “friend,” or “boss,” he was loved deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be missed beyond words, but his legacy of strength, love, and loyalty will live on in his family and all who knew him.
Rest in peace, Tadeusz. Kochamy Cię na zawsze.
