Sylvia Camilleri (nee Ainger) passed away at the age of 89 on Thursday August 9th, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by the people that loved her. She will be forever missed by her daughter Josephine, son-in-law Neil and her devoted caregiver Mary Kris (MK). Her kindness, sense of humour, ability to find the positive in any situation, and her capacity for love will be missed by all of her family and friends in Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Niagara, New York, Wasaga Beach, Alliston, Orangeville, Oakville, Bolton, England and Scotland. A special thank you to her doctors, nurses and loving caregivers who supported her throughout her journey with dementia. Sylvia is now re-united with her one true love, her husband Joseph, and we take great comfort knowing they are together once again. Visitation will take place at Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W. (between Kipling & Islington Aves.) on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 3055 Bloor St. W., Toronto. Please join the family following the service at Weston Golf & Country Club, 50 St. Philips Rd., Toronto, a warm luncheon will be served. Donations in Sylvia’s memory would also be gratefully appreciated to The Alzheimer’s Society of Toronto.
