Dad passed May 27, 2024 at Credit Valley Hospital Mississauga at the age of 92.
He is now reunited with his daughter Karen; his siblings, John, Stan, Ted, Walter, and Natalie; his parents Stanley and Mary and nephew James.
Survived by his wife Ardath, son Stephen, nieces and nephews; Lorraine, Barbara, David, Christopher and Bonnie, he will be sadly missed.
Dad was one of the most considerate and caring people that I’ve known. He always put others’ needs and wants before his own. He could be counted on for off-the-cuff witty comments to make others laugh.
He spent his early leisure years golfing, curling, and fishing. He enjoyed monthly poker games with his group of co-workers for many years. He was an avid bridge player and was always up for a competitive game of Wizard.
In his later years, he enjoyed Sudoku puzzles: and not the easy ones. Right up until his passing, he did level 5 and level 6 difficulty puzzles regularly.
A graveside service will be held at Springcreek Cemetery, 1390 Clarkson Road North on Friday June 7, 2024 at 11:30 a.m., followed by a reception at his son Stephen’s house at 622 Vanessa Crescent, Mississauga.
