October 8, 1985 -  September 15, 2018

Stephen Albert Ponte, 32, passed away after a tenacious battle with cancer on Saturday, September 15, 2018 in Mississauga, Ontario.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 18 at Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, on Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at Cristo Rei Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Steve was born in Scarborough on October 8, 1985, where he spent most of his life causing chaos with his best friend Jeff. He married the love of his life, Caroline Hoang on October 14, 2017 in Mississauga.

Steve is survived by his loving wife and best friend Caroline; brothers Marco (Sonia) and Philip (Jamie); parents Antonio and Eduarda; parents-in-law Thien and Loan; brother-in-law Matthew; nephew Daniel, and nieces Olivia and Alessia.

The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at Credit Valley Hospital for their compassion and care.

So sorry for your loss. I didn't know Steve very well, but whenever we ran into each other I was always taken by his positive outlook and his nothing-is-impossible attitude. A great loss to the world...
