Stephen Feher

August 20, 1935 -  November 5, 2017

Born August 20, 1935 and passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 5, 2017.
Devoted husband of 59 years to Agnes. Loving father of Erica Teklits (Dr. Ramesh Zacharias). Cherished grandfather of Andrea Gaunce (Cameron) and Daniel Teklits. Father-in-law to Istvan Teklits.
Stephen, born in Hungary, was a university student in Sopron and freedom fighter during the 1956 Hungarian Revolution. He immigrated to Canada where he met and married Agnes Filipovits in 1958. The family is grateful to all the doctors, nurses and PSW’s who provided outstanding care over the years.

We will miss you forever Steve. You were the best and we all looked up to you. Always nice, kind, a gentleman and generous to all of us and especially to Christian - together with Agnes. Christian looked up to you as his "Grandpa". RIP. You will always be in our hearts and memories.

First of all, let me offer my sincere condolences for your loss.
Back in 1973, when I was just starting my career as a computer programmer at Confederation Life, Steve was the Assistant Manager of our department. I remember him as a great guy, always willing to help with whatever problem you had, and always calm, no matter what was happening. We were all lucky to have him in our lives, and he will be missed.
