It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, father and uncle, in his
64th year. Stephen is survived by his beloved son Michael, his sisters Janine (late Tom Smith, 2006) and Kathy, his brother Ron (Evelyne Lapierre), and his nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and former partner (Pat Kaneko). Stephen had a sense of wonder, with the determination to match; he loved discussing current affairs and reading history, and had an artistic sense that could be quite surprising. And yet, he was one of those outliers of humanity who are constantly searching for their place. Gone, but in our hearts forever, Requiescat in Pace. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, on Monday, September 25th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 2305 Bloor Street West, at 10:30 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
