Passed away peacefully at the Labdara Nursing Home on Monday, January 29, 2018 at the age of 100. Beloved husband of the late Katharina. Loving father of Tom and Mike. Cherished Opa of Jason and Nathalie. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Toronto (at Windermere, east of the Jane subway) on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Church of the Resurrection, 1 Resurrection Rd., Toronto, on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment St. John’s Lithuanian Cemetery.

Our sincerest sympathies to the Vaivada family. In this sad time there is always the support offered by warm memories of good times shared with Stanley. We never met the man, but am sure given what we see mirrored in his son Tom, he was a very special person with a good heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
