Sister Marilyn and I shared a special bond of friendship during the young years we spent in religious life. Sister Marilyn was a thoughtful. loyal and faithful friend. She was a model of kindness, caring, love of God and all His people. She demonstrated respect for her habit, the Felician rule and way of life. After losing touch for some years, it was a great joy when we were given the opportunity to rekindle our friendship some years later. We shared many visits, cards, phone calls, emails and many laughs. She was so open and excited to share stories of her family, her years teaching and the little children she so loved. She had a clear insight into what children needed to be joyful learners and children of God. The years she spent visiting the hospital were so special to her. She could share her gifts and love of God with those at their most vulnerable times. As her health failed and her frustration increased, she was an inspiration as she accepted God's will.
Goodbye, Good Friend,. You will be missed. May you find peace and eternal rest in the arms of your bridegroom.
Deepest sympathy to all those who knew and loved Sister Marilyn.

Maria Cabardo (She was my daughters grade 1 teacher at St Clare)

Entered March 14, 2020 from Toronto

It saddens me to read that she has passed, although i realize we all pass this way. Sister Marilyn was my daughters grade one teacher at St Clare in Erin Mills. My daughter was the one with “big brown eyes and always in trouble” But Sr Marilyn really helped her grow. Isabel has never forgotten her and often wished they could reconnect. Every time my daughter went as an alter server she would think of Sr Marilyn. Last year she graduated high school and said she wondered what Sr Marilyn Would say now. Sr Marilyn was a beautiful snd caring person who loved to teach and did her job more than well. Now heaven has a new teacher. A fondly remembered one. Maria and Isabel Sabatino Cabarfo
