In Celebration of

Siobhan Dolan

October 2, 1969 -  October 4, 2022

Siobhan died peacefully in her sleep on October 4, 2022, two nights after a warm and convivial birthday dinner with her immediate family. She will be deeply mourned by her beloved children, Evan and Fianna Carter, her parents, Terence Dolan and Kathleen Macdonald, stepfather John Macdonald, her brother, Brendan Dolan and her close friend, Leanne, Brendan’s wife, as well as all of her extended family and her former partner, Robert Carter. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Caoilinn Carter. She was driven by her love of family and a passion for the underdog. She made close friends wherever she went. We will all miss her very much.

A tall, beautiful woman with a loving heart, Siobhan had red hair and strong opinions to match. A talented chef who cooked at several fine Toronto restaurants, she was moving into a second career and was close to finishing a double Diploma at Centennial College as Social Services Worker and Addiction & Mental Health Worker.

Siobhan was buried with her Maternal Grandmother, Audrey Brown in Park Lawn Cemetery on October 17, 2022 in a private immediate family gathering.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Red Cross to assist Atlantic Canada victims from Hurricane Fiona at www.donate.redcross.ca or a donation to your local Food Bank.

My dear Siobhan, how I’ve missed you and will continue to miss you. Your friendship and your children have meant so much to me. Sylvia and Fianna became friends while in utero. I cherish those long summer days at your house while all our kids played. May your children find comfort in knowing the infinite depth of your love.

Siobhan was my neighbour for the past four years. We started out by greeting each other in the halls, and then gradually we became friends. She was such a kind, caring person, always available to help out with my son in an emergency. In this cold unfriendly world, it is not often that a stranger goes out of their way to help you. She has made a lasting impact on me and my son, and she will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know. Sioban was a very special person who touched all our hearts with her love and dedication to Evan and Fianna.

We are so sorry to hear this sad news. Siobhan was an amazing woman - compassionate, smart, fun to work with, and feisty. Sending our best to Siobhan's family - we know that she loved you so much!
