Siegfried Buchberger

March 3, 1933 -  December 22, 2023

It is with great sadness, that the family of Siegfried Buchberger announces his peaceful passing on December 22, 2023, at the age of 90.

Sig was born on March 3, 1933, in Agnetendorf Germany to Franz and Minna Buchberger.

Sig lived a full and vibrant life. He was an outdoor enthusiast who loved tennis, skiing, sailing, camping, biking, golf and pickle ball. He was an avid reader and loved to play chess. He was a flight director for Air Canada and enjoyed traveling all over the world.

Sig will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Georgia; his children, Chris (Ashley), Sybille (Doug), Bill, grandson Connor and his granddaughters. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 2-5 PM at Turner and Porter Yorke Chapel, (2357 Bloor St. W.- east of the Jane Subway Station), Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Siegfried Buchberger may be made to the Temiskaming Hospital (temiskaminghospitalfoundation.org) 421 Shepherdson Rd, New Liskeard, ON, P0J1P0.

I knew Sig and his wife Georgia for many years. My late husband and I spent many good times together, BBQ, dinners , Air Canada functions.l will miss dancing with Sig. Until we meet again

Siggy, was a great friend who always had me laughing. Georgia has been a dear friend for over 40 years who married a loving, caring man that was always looking for a way to pick on her.
