November 16, 1936 - April 2, 2019

Shirley passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Ron Wargalla. Special mother of Gary (Shirley), Glenn, Lauri Anderson (Greg) and the late Rick (2017). Loving grandmother of Kimber-lee, Chris (Kay), Eric (Kaitlin), Craig (Bernadeta), Blake, Brittany, Luke and Kaitlin. Adored great-grandmother of Jason, Riley, Eden, Avery, Ben and Maya. Much loved sister of Norma Edge nee. Payne (Doug), Rene Murphy nee. Payne (Tom) and the late Bill (Anne) and sister-in-law of Steve (Wendy).

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W) on Sunday, April 7th, 2019 from 2-4 p.m and Monday from 10-11 a.m. Memorial Service to be held in the Chapel Monday, April 8th, 2019 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Shirley was “My Canadian Mum”.....fond memories of family dinners and celebrations when she was still in Etobicoke, I recall the egg painting and firing pennies into them. I never remembered my way to her home it was a standing joke between Rick and I, that I could never find my way to her home. Even when Rick and I split, I was still included in family gatherings. Always for years received a birthday and Christmas card from Shirley. She was a special lady and played a special part of my life. Shirley will be sadly missed by her friends and family. Monkey Man and his mum and dad are toasting together tonight. You are all in my thoughts and heart. Love you all. See you on Monday. Xoxox
