Shirley Euna Izon, née Magee, passed away on November 1, 2025 in Brampton, Ontario at the age of 93. She was born in Toronto, Ontario on January 5, 1932 to William James Magee and Euna Gracie Magee, née Aggett. Throughout her life, Shirley was a model of Christian hospitality partnering with her husband in his ministry, entertaining Christian fellowship in the family home. During her career as an Administrative Professional, she was a member of the Association of Administrative Professionals (AAP) as well as Women in the Workforce (WOW). While she retired from her last position with ERCO Worldwide, she went back to work with Overseas Missionary Fellowship (OMF) for a number of years. She read voraciously and enjoyed traveling when she had the opportunity. She was a very active member of her church, particularly with the Anglican Church Women (ACW) and other women’s groups including her long time prayer group with her close friends from Camp Koinonia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings William, Aubrey, Queenie (Ellen), her twin Sheila, and Jack (Francis), as well as her beloved husband, Stanley. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Gloria, Deborah (Stephen), and John (Darlene), her grandchildren Sean, Christopher, Amanda (Joshua), Ashley (Tyler), Alyse (David), Dael, and Leah, and her great-grandchildren Jacob, Phineas, Charlotte, Olive, Waylon, Opal, Owen, and Lucas. The family thanks Maple Grove Community for their compassionate care and support.

Friends may call at Turner & Porter, Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas Street West (between Islington and Kipling), Wednesday, November 5th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Services will be in the Butler Chapel Thursday, November 6th at 12:30 pm, with a visitation prior at 11:30 am. Internment at St. Philips Anglican Church, 31 St. Phillips Road, Etobicoke, with refreshments following.
