Melanie and Family,
I'm very sorry to learn of your mother's passing. She was always so kind to me and I often think of her when in the old neighbourhood. Please know that you're in my thoughts at this sad and difficult time.
Pam
I remember my Aunt Ede (Edith Quelch-Stephen's sister) talking fondly about Shelagh and telling me about Shelagh's latest accomplishments and adventures. Shelagh was dearly loved by her Aunt Ede. My condolences for your loss. (Thanks for publishing her obituary in the Winnipeg Free Press.)
Here's how we are related. Shelagh's father Stephen Quelch and my grandmother Janet May Malcolm were both the grandchildren of Christopher Tatchell Winter and Caroline Leticia Taylor. Their mothers were sisters.
My condolences to Melanie, Roger, Emma and Eleanor and to all who loved Shelagh. She clearly lived a wonderful life and she leaves behind a wonderful legacy in her family.
Melanie, Roger, Emma and Eleanor, Arturo and I want to send our deepest sympathies for the loss of your mother, your grandmother. Your mum was always so welcoming to both of us and her cheerfulness will be greatly missed. We wish you all peace and comfort during this difficult time.
My thoughts and deep sympathy are with Melanie, Roger, Emma and Eleanor. I am very grateful for my memories of Shelagh's friendship, wit, and wisdom.
