Shane was a dear friend of mine and an amazing person . I can’t count how many times he would go out of his way to help me with something , make me something , or bake me something. He was constantly extending his help onto others and expected nothing in return. He was so creative and innovative and had an eye for elegance. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten .
My deepest sympathy and condolences to his family and all his friends who loved him so much.
Shane was such a special person. He had such a unique quality of leaving an impression everywhere he went and on everyone he met.
I will treasure my unique memories of our time together. From when we were 16 in Saint John to the Fashion designs we created in Toronto.
He was my inspiration, my soulmate, my best friend, my hair stylist, my make-up artist, my hat and couture designer.
He was my best cheerleader. When I didn't believe in my art, or was unsure about anything, he was always the first to tell me it was fabulous! Maybe to add more glitter.
He will live on in all the artistry he created, and all our wonderful memories we have.
He is forever in my heart and soul.

Shane, you were a very special individual who brought a great deal of happiness to the lives of everyone who had the good fortune to have known you. You are going to be sorely missed, and this world has become a little less, from the loss of you.
Shane and I both met at 18, in 82. We hung out everyday while I was attending Modern Business college on Prince William St. He'd always have an outrageous outfit put together. We'd walk around the malls, and head to Ann's everyday to meet up with the gang. For the next few years until his move to Ontario at the turn of the century, we all had a great deal of fun together. Weekend trips and many night at Bogart's back in the day. You were the bright shiny center of our group... you will be missed. For the past few days I've felt like an 18 year old in a 44 year old body...I've been seeing you everywhere uptown...the way we all were then. You brought us all together at a time when we were all looking for a place to belong and most of us needed a friend. For that I'll always be grateful.
Met in 92 not 82. We weren't that old.. My bad.
