If flowers grow in heaven, then pick a bunch for us. Place them in Senhorinha’s arms and tell her they’re from us. Tell her that we love and miss her and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile.

It is with tremendous sadness and heavy hearts that we, the family of Senhorinha Areias, announce her passing on Monday, March 29, 2021, at the age of 84. Senhorinha will be remembered as the beloved wife to her husband of 66 years, Francisco Areias; loving mother to Tino Areias (Elsa Areias) and the late Filomena Harding; cherished grandmother to Jennifer Franco (Richard Franco), Christina Areias-Batalles (Martin Batalles), Jessica Rogers (Zachary Rogers), Samantha Harding (Peter Geisberger), Chelsey Harding (Adam Michael); adored great-grandmother to Ayden & Ines Franco, Leo Batalles, and Baby Rogers; dear sister to Deolinda DaSilva.

Senhorinha’s loving smile and gentle heart will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Due to present restrictions, there will be a private family service taking place at Turner & Porter Funeral Home. Followed by a private mass at Christ the King Church.
