Seenath “Chip” Boodram passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025 in Brampton, ON. He is predeceased by his wife, Sabitrie “Pam” Boodram. Seenath will be greatly missed by his daughter, Carolyn (Allan); and his granddaughters Alisha (Joseph) and Emma.
Born in Trinidad and Tobago to Jagdeo and Latchmin, Seenath was one of twelve children. He immigrated to Toronto in the late 1960s, where he began his career as a tailor. He went on to work in manufacturing for more than forty years, known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
In his younger years, Seenath was an avid cricket player, loved driving his car and was always ready to lend a helping hand to newcomers making a fresh start in Toronto. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, his granddaughters were his pride and joy – he loved cooking for them, sharing stories and hearing about their adventures. In his later years, he found joy in the simple pleasures like playing the lottery, watching tennis and endless games of Solitaire.
Seenath will be fondly remembered for his generosity, quiet strength, wisdom and devotion to family. His kindness and presence will be missed by all who knew him.
