Sandra passed away peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Toronto, ON, on March 10, 2023.

Born February 1, 1945 in Indianapolis, Indiana, Sandra graduated from Scecina Memorial High School in 1959, and at the age of 22, started working for her father as a realtor and appraiser at Schilling Realty in Indianapolis, Indiana. After leaving real estate, Sandra, along with her husband, Terry, and daughter, Anna, was instrumental in establishing Slices n’ Scoops in Fenelon Falls, Ontario, which is currently in its 26th year. Sandra often traveled to classic car shows, attended frequent lunch dates with friends, and in her later years, played Bridge in her community of Etobicoke.

She is predeceased by Terry Radey, her husband of 30 years, and is the loving mother of daughter Anna Radey. Sandra is survived by her brother, Steve Schilling and his wife Carla. She is also the caring aunt to nieces and nephews Jean Collison, Chris Schilling, Andrea Hennessy, Maggie Hellmann, Sarah Schilling, Samantha Schilling, and Adam Schilling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John (Jack) Schilling and Jean Schilling (Gibbs), her brother Robert Schilling, and her sister Jane Schilling-Simon.

The family would like to thank the medical staff in the 4L Medicine Unit at St. Joseph’s for the attentive, kind, and loving treatment Sandra received while in their care, as well as a heartfelt thank you to her PSW, Suaad Ahmed, for going above and beyond the call of duty while Sandra was ill.
