I was so sorry to hear of Sandra's passing but so glad she went peacefully in her sleep. She has fought a long hard battle, I do not know any of the people that were her friends and her caregivers but I do want to thank you all for being there with her and for her. And to Mary, whom I do recall Sandra mentioning in several conversations - a special thank you.

I believe my dear Sandra received the birthday gift of eternal life and Christmas gift of being reunited again with her dear parents and little brother Willie, my godchild! As she was palliative, my birthday card would not have reached her, but all day I was thinking and praying for her not knowing she was being embraced and welcomed by her loving God. How blessed I was to have Sandra able to receive my call on September 24 and talk for a long time! I called on Christmas, too, and left a message! Now I will have to treasure the special memories from the past, as I look at all the childhood snapshots I still have. Tomorrow on the day of her funeral, I have arranged for a Mass to be celebrated for the repose of her soul right here in our chapel at 9 am, so I will be there in spirit.
With gratitude for her friends who accompanied her on her final journey, and my sympathy and love.,

So sorry to hear of Sandra’s passing It was a shock .She was so close to my Mom (Marge) and was with her in her final moments something Iwill never forget. We hadn’t seen each other since 2017 just before we moved but we did talk throughout the last years.Unfortunately we weren’t able to attend the funeral as we were away but she is fondly remembered and joining many in heaven .MJ
