Nonno, the times we spent together are memories that I will remember and cherish for the rest of my life - like that time when I was younger when you, Nonna and I went to get the grapes to make wine and the bees swarmed the inside of the car. You had to pull over on the side of the road so we could get them out. I still laugh about that today.

I remember very clearly, those hot summer days on Thirty First Street, when we would sit in the garden all afternoon and water the plants, too. You taught me so many things, and gave me so many things to cherish throughout my life. Thank you for all your unconditional love. Thank you for showing me the pride in what it means to be Italian. I am and forever will be proud to call myself your grandson. "You my best-a friend." I love you Nonno.

Benjamino.
