In Celebration of

Salvatore Lombardo

May 31, 1933 -  October 21, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Salvatore Lombardo on October 21, 2025, at the age of 92. Salvatore was born on May 31, 1933, in San Filippo del Mela, Sicily.

He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 65 years, Tindara; his cherished children Sandy (Susana) and Maria (Vittorio); and his adored grandchildren Christian, Olivia, Luca, Sophia, and Breanna. He is also survived by his loving sister Francesca, and is predeceased by his brothers Franco and Santo, and his sister Concetta.

After immigrating to Canada in the late 1950s, Salvatore and Tindara built a beautiful life together, rooted in love, hard work, and family. He took great pride in his garden and found his greatest joy in time spent with his loved ones. His grandchildren were the light of his life, and he took immense pride in watching them grow, always offering them his wisdom, laughter, and unconditional love.

Salvatore will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. His legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be forever missed and lovingly remembered.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario in his memory.

Please except our condolences. Mr. Lombardo was a long time neighbor of ours at Greycedar Cres. He was a great neighbor. Always with a hello and a smile. We would look out our back window and see how much joy his garden passion brought him. Our deepest sympathy from the Heydorn's and Bordin's.
