It is with great sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Ruža Radoš on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Toronto General Hospital, at the age of 82.

Beloved wife of Mirko for 55 wonderful years. Devoted mother of Marina Smallwood (Charles), Tihomir, and Veronika (Ken). Adored Baka to Maya, Charlie, and Niko. Ruža is survived by her dear sister Kata Lemut (Zlatko) and her brother Petar Petrović.

Born in Domaljevac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ruža and Mirko made their courageous journey to Toronto, Canada in 1971 to join her sister Kata in pursuit of a better future. As an immigrant, she carried with her the values of hard work, determination, and deep family loyalty. Through perseverance and sacrifice, Ruža and Mirko built a beautiful life in their adopted country, though she never forgot her roots and always honored the traditions that shaped her.

A devout Roman Catholic, Ruža lived her faith through her actions. She was the kindest, sweetest woman, known by all for her gentle spirit and the warm smile she offered to everyone she met. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her many family members and friends here in Canada, Croatia, Switzerland, and Germany.
