On Tuesday February 17th, 2026 Ruth Hawkes in her 95th year, peacefully and gently passed into eternity, entering into the loving arms of her Saviour Jesus her Lord, whom she loved and served all her days. Beloved wife of the late Fred Hawkes. Loving mother to her children Trish and Wayne Hutchinson, Karen and Nick Munroe, Doug and Sue Hawkes. Beloved Grandmother to Jeff and Erin Hutchinson. Pre-deceased by her brothers George Trewin and his wife Winnie and Bob Trewin and his wife Shirley. She lived her life with passion and purpose, never afraid to try something new, for her life was full of adventure. She was always ready to lend a hand to help others. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 7th, 2026 at Turner and Porter Funeral home, "Neweduk-Erin Mills Chapel" 1981 Dundas St West, Mississauga, On L5K 1R2 (905) 828-8000. Visitation begins at 2:00 pm, Funeral service begins at 3:00 pm with Reception to follow.
