Dear Vic and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. Ruth was my number one volunteer at All Saints for many years, along with you. She was always willing no matter how busy she was with friends, family and other commitments to help me with mailings and other special projects. She was a wealth of knowledge and never said no. She was a strong supporter of everything All Saints!! I appreciated her thoughtful and caring support always. She was a great friend to myself and so many others. Thanks for sharing Ruth with us!
Thinking of you and your family.
During my school years, it felt like I spent as much time at 39 Saybrook as I did in my own home. Some of the other "guys" probably felt the same. Ruth always fed us, talked with us, advised us and looked after us. Whenever I came in the house I'd greet her with a "Hi Mom" and she'd give me a wink that meant she knew I was only half joking.
Amma was the most caring person, always asking how you were - and truly meaning it. Nothing will replace the sincerity of her heart shown through her actions every time you saw her.
Ég elska þig (I love you) <3
Janet & family, Deepest Condolences to you on the passing of your mother, May you always hold a piece of her in your heart .
