It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruth Gertrud Stankovic on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Kipling Acres Long-Term Care facility.

Ruth was the devoted wife of the late Miodrag (Mike) Stankovic and the cherished mother of Danielle Amoroso and Nada Roknic and the beloved mother-in-law to Mike Amoroso and Jovan Roknic.

She will be deeply missed by her four grandchildren, Tommy, Miranda, Sasha and Ljilja and her two great grandchildren, Oaklyn and Arya.

Ruth was known for her kindness and selfless giving to everyone that knew her. Her greatest joy was being able to take care of children - she LOVED children more than anything else.

Ruth truly was an angel on earth.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., Toronto (at Windermere east of the Jane subway) on Monday, January 6th from 2-3 p.m., followed by the Chapel Service at 3 p.m.
