Peacefully, on Thursday July 24, 2025 at Evergreen Retirement Home, at the age of 90.

Beloved wife of the late David. Loving mother of Stephen (Mary Archila), Paul & Joanne Carnahan (Brian Carnahan). Gran to Brandon, Alicia & Mackay.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 from 10 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m.

To the Gregory family,
My deepest condolences go out to you all.
Ruth was a wonderful Lady, she always had a smile on her face, she would always give me a hug or two either before or after lunch or dinner , she always listened to stories that i would tell her and the ladies at her table of my now 5 yr old and show pictures and videos of what he did at daycare or on the weekend ......

She will be sadly missed

Joanne, Paul, and Stephen,
I was out of town when Ruth's service was held, and so I was so glad that you had it live streamed and that I could watch it today, August 5. Ruth was a dear friend and fellow librarian, and we became close through Jonanne's small group. Hers was a life well lived, and the service was a beautiful commemoration of that.
