In Celebration of

Rose Goebel

October 18, 1932 -  February 22, 2018

Retired A&P (Metro) Head Office
Peacefully passed away with family present, in her home at Sunrise of Erin Mills, on February 22, 2018 at the age of 85. Beloved daughter of the late Michael and Rosie Kovacs, and daughter-in-law of the late Roy and Helen Goebel. Devoted wife for 60 years of the late Karl. Loving mother of Carolyn (Michael) Farace, Linda Goebel and Martin (Franca) Goebel. Treasured grandmother of Danielle (Eamonn), David (Brittney) and Marc. Cherished sister of the late Ethel (late Bill) Gilliland and Mary (late Julius) Ellis. Sister-in-law of the late Bill (late Barbara) Goebel. Fondly remembered as Aunt Rose to Beverley (Harold) Todd, Jim (Kristi) Gilliland, Debra (Ian) Sutherland, Mark (Kimberly) Goebel, Chris (Cherie) Goebel and Kurt (Darlene) Goebel. Dear niece of Velma Baker and cousin of Jim Balogh. Rose was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her zest for life and love of family defined her, and although we will miss her more than words can describe, she will live forever in our memories and hold a dear place in our hearts. For those who wish donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the ALS Society. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca

Dear Linda and family
We are so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mom. Such a wonderful lady and always so welcoming when in her home. Mostly, she was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren.
Our thoughts are with you.
