Rose Alabakis

April 29, 1949 - March 6, 2021

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Rose on Saturday March 6, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 71 at home surrounded by family. Predeceased by her husband Sam, and predeceased by her brother Peter. Rose will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Kristina (Kevin) and Pauline, grandsons Coen and Liam and her brothers Tom (Mary) and Peter (Frances). She will also be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.

A private family service will be held at Turner and Porter - Yorke Chapel on Tuesday March 9th, 2021.

For those who wish, donations in Memory of Rose may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

We are saddened by the news of Rosie’s passing. She was a very caring daughter. wife, mother and Baba, who gave so much joy and love.
I remember Rosie in our younger days when our families lived together and the good times we had. We didn’t know we were making memories at the time ,we just thought we were having fun.
Cousins are a little bit of childhood that can never be lost.
Rosie you will always be in my heart and never forgotten. RIP my cousin.
