In Celebration of

Rosanna Biscaro

June 10, 1946 -  May 15, 2022

Heaven has gained an angel.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosanna Giovanna Biscaro (nee Bettio), surrounded by her family on Sunday May 15th at 9:40 p.m. at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Egidio for almost 55 years. Cherished mother of Roger and Amanda (Robert).

She persevered through many health struggles over the years, with her intense will to live and enjoy life to the fullest. COVID was a great fear for her and she was unfortunately exposed in mid-February. Despite a 3 month-long hospital batte, the damage proved to be too much for her to overcome. While we are very saddened by her loss, we are thankful for the time we had with her.

She had a passion for gardening, cooking, politics and ancestry. She had a sharp wit and memory. She was a wonderful mother who participated with our school as a parent volunteer on many occasions. We would get asked by other children if our mother was coming and bringing her famous cream cheese brownies. She loved to decorate the house, especially for Christmas and Halloween. Many children would stop by to trick or treat over the years because they were so impressed by her decorations and looked forward to visiting. She was welcoming to our friends and she would often host Boxing Day dinners for them. We will always remember her love and kindness.

Friends may call at the Turner and Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy 10 N. of Q.E.W.) on Thursday May 19th from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 2070 Central Parkway, Mississauga, on Friday May 20th at 10 a.m. Live streaming of the funeral mass will be available at www.peterandpaul.church by clicking "Livestream" button below.

Rosanna had a long history of autoimmune related challenges. For those who wish, donations may be made to www.lupuscanada.org by clicking on the "Donations" menu button above.
