In Celebration of

Rolf Christoph Dreimuller

December 25, 1931 -  August 30, 2020

It is with the deepest of sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Rolf Dreimuller on August 30th, 2020. He softly drifted off in the loving embrace of his only daughter Heidi, never complaining and remaining grateful and positive to the end. Husband, Father and Grandfather, he will be missed by many but mainly his daughter Heidi Dreimuller and her loving and supportive husband, Michael Papakonstantinou and his cherished Grandson and namesake Christopher.

Rolf was fiercely devoted to his loving wife and best friend Barbara Dreimuller. Their happy and adventurous 54 year marriage was his proudest accomplishment. The unexpected passing of his “Barbchen” (2016) shook our family to the core. Though life would never be the same, Rolf soldiered on through his grief, always with a smile and positive comment. Visitors were warmly greeted with a strong cup of coffee or a glass of wine and Swiss Chalet & Mandarin invitations were numerous. Rolf’s love of nature was fulfilled at his “happy place”, the cottage, where he enjoyed the company of neighbours, a glass of beer, feeding the critters and of course his pipe!

Thank you for your unwavering love, sound advice, encouragement, and happy childhood filled with wonderful experiences. I will hold those memories forever. Love you Daddy.

A special thank you to the exceptional care providers from Able Living who loved Dad like their own. Thank you to our dear friends and neighbours for their outpouring of love, support and meals during our time of grief.

Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to Sick Kids Hospital or Trillium Health Partners.
