It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robin on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Trillium - Mississauga.

Beloved companion of Barbara Sheridan. Dear son of the late Sam and Margueirite McCubbin. Robin will be lovingly remembered by April MacDonell. Longtime employee of IBM Canada and Deloitte. Robin will be forever remembered by those people, whose lives he touched.

Friends may call from at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel 2180 Hurontario St., Hwy 10 N. of QEW on Wednesday, July 20th from 5 – 9 p.m.

Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, July 21st at 3 p.m. If desired memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca.

I worked with Robin for many years, I do regard him as a mentor and friend, I do have highest respect for Robin even we have our difference and approach when we work tougher. I found him as great person with big heart. He treated people working with him with great respect. For sure we are going to miss him.

Not too long ago, he was kind enough to give me an old bugle he acquired. I am shocked and saddened by his passing. I often teased him about all the delicious photos of lamb dinners he posted on Facebook. I will miss his his wonderful sense of humour.
