Peacefully, on Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Wenleigh Nursing Home, Mississauga, at the age of 88. Long time companion of Mary Tennant, brother of Josephine, Maura, and the late Sean. Loving father of Catherine Magill (Mike), Karen Blaauw (Heino), Sean (Debbie) and the late Larry (August 2017). Proud grandfather to David, Andrew, Jessica, Rhiannon, Cameron, Kaylyn (Jordan Piaskowy), Kerianne (Jordan Malm), Rachel, Sean (Sarah), Evan, Kyle, Michael and Emma. Bob was born in Dalkey, Ireland on November 12, 1929 and was raised on the family’s dairy farm. He was one of the founding members of the Toronto Saracens Rugby Club and was the team’s first captain. He was involved in Rugby for most of his life and also played tennis into his late 70’s. He loved the outdoors, taking long walks and enjoyed travelling, especially back to his hometown in Ireland. The family would like to thank the Wenleigh for the wonderful care Bob received. A special thanks to the daily care from Sheri and Letty.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at 11 a.m..
