In Celebration of

Robert (Bob) John Wilkins

May 28, 1938 -  January 31, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Father and Grandfather on 31 January following a brief illness.

A Toronto boy born and raised, Robert was a proud long-time employee of the Toronto-Dominion Bank, serving for many years at the King and Bay Street branch.

Predeceased by his wife Cathrine (Lynne) in 2022, he was a devoted father to James (Jeanette) and Andrew (Penny), and a loving grandfather to Elona. He was proud of each and every one of their achievements.

Bob was a fan of big cars and road trips, British comedy and good food. He was a voracious reader and loved to watch “the hockey”.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

A service will be held at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, on Friday, February 7 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Humber River Health Foundation – Vascular Surgery Clinic.

We were shocked and saddened to hear that Bob passed away. Just a couple of days before we had talked about him and that he seemed to be doing better.
We are grateful to have known him.
Our condolences to the whole family.

So sorry to see this, I just found out about it. Bob was always so good to me whenever we visited he and Lynne in Toronto and when they visited us in Winnipeg. My condolences to James, Jenette, Andrew, Penney and family, Bob was definitely one of a kind and I'm sure will be missed. Happy trails my friend!
