We met and became good friends with Bob and Helen in Dartmouth N.S. in 1975 . We both moved back to the GTA and continued our friendship. For an number of years, we visited back and forth in spite of the distance between our homes. We shall miss Bob, and send our love to Helen and family.

We share grandchildren (Hannah and Graeme) with Bob and Helen and have enjoyed knowing Bob. He was an interesting and interested man and he will be missed by many! May he rest in eternal peace!

Bob and I had several international postings together, during which we enjoyed each other's company , as well as the culture and cuisine of far away places. From time to time we also shared with others our Canadian "lumber-camp'" style poker skills, which made the time away from home pass more quickly, and profitably. His love of life, and his loved ones, will continue in the our memories.
