Unexpectedly on Thursday August 14, 2025 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario. Born December 21, 1965. Beloved and only son of Beverly (Gallagher) Jones and the late Gornall Jones. Brother of Debbie and her husband Stephen Biffis. Uncle of Stephanie Biffis and Natalie Biffis (David Jackson). Cherished by his girlfriend Stephanie Kloosterman. Rick will be sadly missed by many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends both in Ontario and Nova Scotia. Rick was a long time employee of the City of Caledon.

Rick will be resting at the Turner and Porter Funeral Home 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga on Tuesday August 19, 2025. Visitation from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Private cremation - Immediate family only. Please no floral arrangements. Donations may be made in his memory to Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, 201 Georgian Drive Barrie, Ontario L4M 6M2
