In Celebration of

Richard Fenton

July 22, 1946 - January 23, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Richard Fenton on January 23, 2026 at the age of 79, surrounded by family.

Richard was a patient and wise man whose steady presence and gentle nature left a lasting impression on all who knew him. An avid golfer with a deep appreciation for the outdoors, he found joy in life’s simple pleasures, whether spending time at the cottage or sharing quiet moments with family.

Richard, son of the late Phyllis (Day) and Delbert Fenton, was predeceased by his former wife Victoria; his daughter Elizabeth; and his siblings Gordon (Myrna), Isabel (Henry), Margaret (John), and Libby (Jim).

He is survived by his beloved daughter Corinna; his cherished grandchildren Daniel, Kellianne (Zachary), Brooke (Matthew), Peter, and Gabriella; his adored great-grandchildren Isla and Kai; his siblings Bill (Anne) and Tim (April); his step-son Shane; his former wives Betty and Pauline and family; as well as his many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

A visitation will be held at Turner & Porter - Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto on Friday, January 30, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Turner & Porter - Yorke Chapel
2357 Bloor Street West, Toronto

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard’s memory to the Toronto Alzheimer’s Society, which provides vital support to individuals living with dementia and their families, or to Grove Park Home, whose compassionate care meant so much to Richard and his family in his final years.

Richard’s legacy lives on through the family and friends who deeply loved and respected him and will miss him dearly.
