Richard Cappelletti

December 13, 1958 -  November 6, 2017

On November 6, 2017 Richard Cappelletti passed away at the age of 58 surrounded by his family in Cambridge Ontario.

A caring father, devoted husband, and loving son. He leaves behind two daughters Laura and Melissa, his wife Joanne, parents Lily and Federico, and sister Debbie.

Born December 13, 1958 in Quebec Rick grew up in Rouyn Noranda. His family moved to Port Credit where he attended Gordon Graydon High School. Known for his athleticism and stature he excelled at several sports throughout his youth.

Rick spent 30 years at Ford Motor Company in Oakville, Ontario. Retiring July 2017.

Rick married his soulmate Joanne October 1, 1988 and later welcomed two beautiful daughters Laura and Melissa.

On June 2016 Rick was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Throughout his battle, he remained fearless and embodied strength and courage. Rick was known for having passion a for life which did not waiver regardless of the obstacles he faced in life.

Joanne, Laura and Melissa we are devastated with the loss of Rick. He was the most generous man we know. He will leave a big hole in so many people’s lives. We will always treasure the many memories and fun times we had.

Nereo has fond memories of Rick growing up and going fishing with his grandfather when he was only two years old! He always had a smile and happy disposition he will be sorely missed!
