January 21, 1935 - October 19, 2017

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Credit Valley Hospital on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Beverley for 57 years. Loving father of Karen Gervais and Keith (Jackie). Proud and much loved grandad of Nicolas, Patrick, Josh and Jared. He will be greatly missed by all his extended family and friends.

Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Neweduk-Erin Mills” Chapel, 1981 Dundas St. W., Mississauga (just east of Erin Mills Pkwy) on Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Thomas à Becket Anglican Church, 3535 South Common Crt., Mississauga, on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.

It is with a heavy heart that we learn of the death of a good friend of so many years. Over these years, many good memories have been made. Richard, Bev, Harry & myself all worked at Sherwin-Williams in different locations. Richard & Harry attended university together.....they also worked together....when Bev left to have their first child, I took over her position and we have had a wonderful friendship all of these years. We will miss your visits are the lake Richard but know you are now at peace with a loving God. It is all those happy memories that we made together that will sustain those of us left behind during the low times. Rest in eternal peace dear Richard, we will all meet again one day......You were so loved.
