November 1, 1932 -  November 11, 2016

Peacefully, at home, on Friday November 11, 2016 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Nancy for 54 years. Loving father of Heather (David), Paul (Victoria), and Shawna. Devoted grandpa of Eliza and Sam. A Memorial Service will be held at Islington United Church, 25 Burnhamthorpe Rd. (north of Dundas St. W.) on Tuesday November 15, 2016 at 2 p.m. Visitation from 1 p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to Islington United Church.

Rev. Raymont was minister at Dunbarton-Fairport United Church when I was a child. I remember his children's time during Sunday Services filled with stories. His daughter Shawna and I were in choir together and often shared rides to and from church on Thursday evenings for practice. Rev. Raymont confirmed me as a member of the Church. I remember his laughter and his love of his family and for his church community. My condolences to Mrs. Raymont, Heather, Shawna and Paul and their families.
