Fr. Ted you were an amazing Priest and wonderful friend and part of our family for 51 years. We feel such a void in our lives since you departed but know you are with our Heavenly Father enjoying the eternal banquet. You now have the peace you were longing for. You were a blessing in our lives. We will miss having you at Medora Lake & watching the Blue Jays with you but hopefully they will win the World Series this year! Rest in peace our friend.🙏🏻🙏🏻

It was with sadness that I learned of the passing of Fr. Edward 'Ted' Smith. Fr. Ted and I grew up together in Holy Name Parish, attended Holy Name School together, and served Mass in Latin together, all about a million and a half years ago!
My condolences to all of Fr. Ted's family members and friends.
Eternal rest grant unto your Priest, Fr. Edward, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Requiestcat in Pace!
I will Always be grateful for his relevant homilies , his pastoral presence and his friendship..
Fr. Smith had a wonderful sense of humour and put many parishioners at ease, especially the new catechumens, with his presence. My daughter and I travelled with him to the Holy Land on a pilgrimage in November 2019 with many other St. Paul’s parishioners. We had a wonderful blessed experience and it may be the last time I may ever get back to the Holy Land (world crisis’ such as pandemics and war has struck the region for the last 6 years). I feel grateful we spent this time with Fr. Smith. May his soul rest eternally with our Lord.
