In Celebration of

Regina Walkuski

February 10, 1933 -  January 17, 2021

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Regina Walkuski on Sunday, January 17, 2021 from Covid-19. Regina suffered from Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease for several years and her recent decline in health left her without enough strength to fight the virus. Her suffering is over and she is at peace, reunited with her husband, Kazimierz, deceased for over 20 years.
Regina was born on February 10, 1933 in Bakonowka, Poland to Eustachy and Veronika Sebestianski. She married Kazimierz Walkuski in England in September of 1951 and they moved to Canada 2 years later to begin their new life together.
Regina was a hard working mother of 3 children. She worked well into her later years in accounting as a controller. She was known and appreciated as a shrewd businesswoman but at the end of the work day Regina balanced her life with family, church and choir, dancing, singing, gardening, tennis and always lots of good cooking and parties with friends.
Everyone knew Regina as the “life of the party” and she would always entertain guests with her singing and dancing but nothing made Regina happier than spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. If there were babies around she would always have one in her arms.
Regina is survived by her children; Edward, Diane with husband Joe, and Robert. She leaves behind five grandchildren, Cassandra, Natalie, Donato, Alyssa and Kaz as well as brother in laws, and numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
Although her dancing and singing days left her some time ago we will never forget her love of life, sense of humour and caring nature.
