In Celebration of

Raymond Dittmar

October 6, 1933 -  April 1, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ray Dittmar on April 1st at age 86. Ray will be dearly missed by his best friend and loving wife of almost 23 years as well as his extended family and friends. Predeceased by parents Walter and Matilda Dittmar (nee Karman) and sister June Lewis. Ray was a dedicated and talented manager with the A&P Company for over 40 years, proudly winning many display competitions. He opened numerous new stores and guided many other stores to success. Ray loved his cars and was legendary in his meticulous care of his lawn. The Blue Jays and Leafs have lost an avid fan.

A special thank you to the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Merciful Redeemer Parish (Mississauga) or Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

A private family service will be held.
