Raul Felipe Mercier, passed away at the young age of 36 on April 3rd after a long battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Raul was born in Lima, Peru, on July 14th, 1987 from parents Raul and Cecilia. He is survived by his parents and younger brother, Jean-Claude.
His life was intense but at the same time relaxed. He knew how to brighten up a room. His type of attitude allowed him to gain trustworthy friends that shared his passion for life. His laugh was unique and infectious to everyone he met.
Raul had many interests in life that kept him occupied. The joy he would have when playing the sport of Tennis was a spectacle to see. Raul was the only player to win the Tecumseh Club championship back-to -back. He was a natural sportsman. He also played soccer at a high level when younger. He had a fascination with sports cars, reviewing to the finest details.
He never failed to ask the big questions. His mind worked much different than most. But this enabled him to have thoughtful and unique perspectives.
Raul will be remembered dearly from his family and friends. We will not forget his words, thoughts, or actions.
Donations to Pancreatic Cancer Canada would be much appreciated by the Family.
