In Celebration of

Radmila Busic

June 22, 1956 -  September 1, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Radmila. She died peacefully and surrounded by her daughters on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Trillium Health Partners-Mississauga, at the age of 66. Beloved wife of the late Petar. Devoted and much-loved mother of Tatijana and Natasha (Zack). Proud and deeply loved Nana of Isadora, Milo and Nikola. Dear sister of Milovan (Mira) and Zivica (Milica).

Radmila was born in Taraš, Serbia. She came to Canada with Petar in 1975, pregnant with their daughter Tatijana. She will be remembered for her resourcefulness, resilience, and remarkable strength. Most importantly, she will be remembered as “Nana” and for the love (and endless kisses!) she had for her three grand-children.

She will always be in the hearts and fondest memories of her loved ones.

Radmila’s family wants to extend their gratitude to the Doctors, nurses and care coordinators who supported them over the last two years. Radmila was cared for compassionately and respectfully, and for that her family will be forever grateful.

Funeral Service will be held at All Saints Serbian Church, 2520 Dixie Rd. Mississauga, on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 10 a.m. Interment at York Cemetery. Reception to follow at the home of Tatijana Busic, 100 Quebec Ave. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Dorothy Ley Hospice.

Dear Tanja and Natasha!
Please accept my sincerest sympathies on the loss of your mom.
I met Radmila, Pero and you almost 30 years ago. It is important that you know how proud she was of both of you and how much she loved Isadora, Milo and Nikola. She was talking about you all the time.
You, as well, took such loving care of your mom at the end of her life.
We will all miss her so much.
My love goes to all of you.

Goodbye Radmila. I remember lots of laughter and the best cabbage rolls I’ve ever eaten in my life, visiting Tatijana and you in the apartment many years ago. Thank you for your hospitable heart, and for producing such wonderful daughters. Rest In Peace. xxx Pilvi
