Oh my, it was with so much sadness that I read Frieda's passing just now. I realize that the last few years were difficult for her and the family but the memories of the wonderful times we had while in New Orleans twice a year will live on in my heart.
So many memories of much happiness and sadness when she said farewell to Ian.
May her spirit be with us for a very long time as I'm sure she has many things that she will still wish to accomplish.
My heart and many hugs go out to Sean and Steve and your families.
We will miss Frieda's beautiful smile and stories about her family. She just adored her sons and her eyes lit up when she spoke of her grandchildren. She had great stories about spending time with her grandchildren, they were her pride and joy. She also shared stories about her beloved husband, heartbroken over his early departure, she really missed him. Frieda always welcomed us with open arms and was so warm and kind. We always looked forward to her company at family reunions.
Your mom adored her family and friends, we adored her.
In our thoughts,
Willy & Kathryn
Our condolences. Frieda was a wonderful spirit. May she rest in peace.
I am so thankful that Frieda moved to Kitchener and I was able to get to know her. She was so full of life and always willing and happy to play piano for sing-a-longs at church and at parties. For many years she was the pianist for our Bethel Senior's Group as well as serving as supply organist for church services whenever I needed a replacement organist. She was a wonderful woman! Rest in Peace is not the mental image I have of Frieda but instead picture her with a big smile playing for the angelic hosts of heaven.
My sympathy to her family. She spoke with joy and pride about you and loved all of you dearly.
