June 9, 1947 - December 6, 2023

She peacefully, passed away at home, on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the age of 76, with her daughter by her side. Beloved wife of the late Gyurika. Adored mother of Gyongyi, Edith, and Istvan, the best mother-in-law to Emil, Bill, and Gabriela, and a Mother figure for 27 years to Mariana and Husni.

Cherished grandmother to Henrietta, Kimberly, Andrew and Beatrice, great-grandma to Sofia and Natasha.

A private service will be held.

For those who wish, donations may be made to the Mississauga Food Bank in memory of Piroska Mikla.

După o viata și frumoasa și grea, ai plecat împăcată și fericita cu ceea ce ai lăsat în urma. Pentru mine vei ramane cu imaginea de acum mai puțin de trei luni, înconjurată de copii, gineri, nora, nepoata și prieteni veniți de departe, sărbătorind și bucurandu-se sa fie împreună.
La fel cum voi păstra cu bucurie amintirea zilelor din copilărie când ma luai la voi acasă pentru zile grozave de joacă, cu reguli mai puține și libertate multă.
Ai știut sa ne ții aproape pe toti, chiar dacă ai fost departe!
Sa ai odihna veșnică, sa fii împreună cu toți ai noștri plecați și sa petreceți acolo asa cum făceați pe vremuri, când umpleam o curte de fete Kocsis și familiile lor!
Rămas bun, Piri! Îți mulțumesc pentru felul in card ai știut sa fii matusa mea!

My Mother came from a very big family, she was the second youngest among 15 siblings, unfortunately 5 died at very young age during the second world war, but 10 survived and reached late adulthood. The youngest sister Terezia she is leaving in Hungary with her daughter and her family.
These are the siblings that we have lost during the years: Albert, Zsuzsánna, Mária, Katalin, Erzsébet, Rozália, Anna, Etelka, Piroska.
Now they can finally be together again with my mother.
