In Celebration of

Phronie Eastman

April 9, 1945 -  December 3, 2025

It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we share the passing of our beloved Phronie Gladys Eastman, who passed away at Brampton Civic Hospital on December 3, 2025 at the age of 80.

Beloved wife of Wilson for nearly 58 years. Loving mother of David and Darryl. Cherished grandmother of Ashley, Allison, Jessica, and Liam, and great-grandmother of Amber, Taylor and Eddie.

Born in Grand Falls, Phronie was a proud Newfoundlander. She worked as a cashier for many years in Toronto. Her family will dearly miss her down-to-earth generosity and kind heart. She will be forever remembered.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society below. (MAKE A DONATION)

Originally met Phronie in April 1983 when we moved 3 doors away from her and the family. Over the years went to Bingo together, did annual Christmas Bazaars and shop talked knitting and crocheting projects. Less so in the past few years, but we still enjoyed a cup of tea together at the house and chatted about our grandkids. She will be missed. Carol

Phronie, so sad to hear of your passing away in Brampton. I will miss our varied conversations over the years since I was about 10 years old, where my father Ernest Harris met your husband, Clayton Eastman. I’m sure you’re at peace now, and he is waiting for you at heaven’s gate. May your soul have eternal rest. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
