Peter passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at age 70 years. Cherished husband of 33 years to Michelle. Beloved father of Matthew (Sarah Smith) and Adam (Lauren Rosenfeld). Peter will be remembered as a dedicated professor, amateur carpenter, fabulous cook, and avid gardener by his friends and family. Cherished memories of him will never fade. Peter’s family would like to thank Dr. Frances Shepherd, colleagues, and staff at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and Dr. Jonathan Ailon and staff at Bridgepoint Active Healthcare. In lieu of flowers, to raise awareness of lung cancer in non-smokers, a donation directed to lung cancer research at Princess Margaret or palliative care at Bridgepoint would be appreciated by the family.
