It is with great sadness that the family of Perica Muhar announces his peaceful passing at Credit Valley Hospital on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Pepa “Josie” for 56 years, loving father of John, Nikola (Maryanne) and Božena (Marko). Proud and adored Dida of Maja, Tomislav, Adriana, Olivia, Emilia, Andrew and Daniela. Predeceased by his father Joso (1978), mother Matilda (2013), sister Ana (2016) survived by her husband Petar Mijić and sister Mara (Milan) Starčević. Perica will be fondly remembered by his numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, kumovi and friends in Canada, the United States, Croatia, Australia, Germany and Switzerland. He will be dearly missed. May he rest in peace. Počivao u miru.

Visitation at Turner & Porter ‘Neweduk’ Chapel, 1981 Dundas Street West, Mississauga on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Vigil prayers at 6 p.m.

Funeral mass will be held at the Croatian Martyrs Church, 4605 Mississauga Rd., Mississauga, on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 10 a.m.

Interment Assumption Catholic Cemetery on 6933 Tomken Rd., Mississauga.

For those who wish, donations may be made to Croatian Martyrs Church or to Crkva Svetog Jakova in Lika, Croatia.
